A new experiment - sharing videos

Well I'm trying something new. I purchased an Aiptek IS-DV to replace an Aiptek DV4500 that went MIA as part of the move to Myrtle Beach. For those of you not familiar with these devices they're a combination digital camera / video camera / MP3 player / etc, and they go for around $100 new depending on where you buy them.

They take videos in various sizes and quality, and if you use Windows they have software to convert the files so that you can burn them to DVD or VCD. Now, quality wise remember that I said these cost about $100. They're not that bad, but DVD quality they are not.

Those that know me well know that I suck when it comes to follow through on mailing things. Kim Boone still has to be amazed that I got her card congratulating her on her high school graduation before she graduated from college, much less before she graduated from high school.

With this in mind I am going to start experimenting with posting my videos online with YouTube for friends and family to view. I've had good luck watching YouTube both in Windows and in Linux, so it seems like a good choice.

Without further adieu here's a few videos I uploaded to YouTube.
